Re: Daredevil. It's not an issue of him having abilities a normal person does not (as in your Spidey example) its that the abilities he has directly negate the challenges and obstacles faced by people who are blind. A better example would be Oracle being given the ability to walk via an incantation or some other power. It's using the power to cancel out the disability, so you get points for having a disabled character without any of the nuance or depth of actually portraying them as such.

It’s seemed to work out all right over all these years, though.
Except that his other abilities compensate. They don’t give him normal vision. He sees contours. He’s effectively colorblind. Anything laminated, on a screen, or under glass is lost to him. Wearing gloves in costume negates his ability to read print and likely hinders his ability to read Braille. It’s been well-established that his super-keen senses are also his biggest weakness, leaving him prone to sensory overload. (Check out last week’s issue, btw).
So, this is more like Oracle being given the ability to walk via The Red Shoes and finding that it’s as much a liability as an asset.
